What is Nisarga

Nisarga word is composed of Ni and Sarga. Ni is Upsarga and Sarga is the main word. Sarga means Srusthi.

निरंतर सृजति इति निसर्ग: | जो सदैव सर्जन ( उत्पन्न ) करत असतो तो निसर्ग.

Nisarga encompasses everything created, sustained, and governed by Ishwar, the supreme Lord of the universe. From seeds sprouting in the earth, birds migrating and building nests, to the seasonal growth of flowers and fruits—nature operates under divine laws. Humans breathe, digest food, and interact with plants in a cycle of oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange. From the smallest ant to the largest elephant, all life functions through these natural laws. Therefore, I am nature, you are nature; everything around us, directed by Him, is nature.

Thus, Nisarga is beyond individual identity. The totality of the universe is Nisarga. The absolute is Nisarga. It is the natural state of every sentient and insentient being. Nature is also called Prakriti.
